Rates and contracting
Translation
Our professional fees depend on various factors, namely: combination of different languages, volume, technicality of the text, delivery deadlines, required work format, and recurrence of the translation project due to the fact that this modality enables us to use translation memories. Moreover, you can get significant discounts in rates establishing a constant business relation with LGS.
The translation quote is based on the number of words of the original document. In order to make a closed estimate appropriate to the text to be translated, we require that you send to us a little sample of the text either by fax or by e-mail. In the case that you may require any additional work regarding graphics, special formats or multimedia rich text, it will be quoted separately after we have received the original files.
Once the translation order has been placed, you will receive an e-mail enclosing the estimate belonging to the translation project. By means of this, we will confirm the quote, discounts (if any), delivery deadline(s), and date and form of payment. All our estimates are valid for a period of 15 days. The translation work is subject to the initial payment by the client of the 50% of the project total cost, unless otherwise stipulated.
In the case of projects involving a long-term commitment between LGS and the client, it will be required that the client, apart from making an initial payment, provide partial payments as the project advances.
The billing will be based on the number of words of the source text. The invoice will be sent after the project has been completed. An additional monthly charge of 2.5% will be added to the balance of any bill that may remain unpaid for more than 30 days, with this monthly charge being applicable until the unpaid bill has been canceled in its entirety.

Interpretation
The costs of the interpretation services may vary depending on the location where the service is to be provided and the duration of the interpretation working period.
The billing for this type of services will be based on the fee for a 3-hour working period, or a 6-hour working period where the presence of two interpreters is required in order to provide a better service.
When contracting our services, the 50% of the project total cost should be paid, and the balance should be canceled once the event has finished, unless otherwise stipulated.
An additional monthly charge of 2.5% will be added to the balance of any bill that may remain unpaid for more than 30 days starting from the date of the event
