LGS offers you the following services of interpretation.
In the Simultaneous Interpretation the audience uses headphones and the interpreter works within a booth with a transmitter. In this way, the interpreter translates the discourse to the listeners at the same time that the speaker gives the discourse in his/her language. This modality allows a multilingual audience and each person listens to the discourse in his/her language. This kind of service is usually used at social events such us conferences, congresses and seminars, among others.
In the Consecutive Interpretation the interpreter translates the idea expressed by the speaker once the latter finishes expressing his/her idea. No transmission equipment is needed in this type of interpretation, the auditor listens to both the original message of the speaker and the interpreter’s translation. This type of service is used in meetings, interviews, press conferences, presentations.
In the Liaison Interpretation the interpreter takes the role of an intermediary in a conversation between speakers of different languages. This modality of interpretation is used in private business meetings, dinners, among others.
LGS offers interpretation services from English, French, Portuguese and German into Spanish.
With the aim of providing a top quality service it is necessary that previously to the interpretation the interpreter should have the reference material belonging to the theme to be dealt with in the event. In doing so, the interpreter will be able to be as accurate as possible to the original message.
In the modalities of Consecutive and Liaison Interpretations, the interpreter should meet the speaker at least fifteen (15) minutes before the conference in order to agree the interpretation timing and to establish the same line of thought.
